Configuring the DCAD Server Settings

You can configure this Pro/ENGINEER workstation to participate in distributed processing sessions.

1. Specify the command that is used to start Pro/ENGINEER. You specified this command previously in the Create and Configure Commands dialog box.

2. Specify the directory path to be used as a temporary working area for the DCAD server. Temporary files will be created here during a distributed computing session. You can also click the folder icon, navigate the folder hierarchy, and browse to the location.

To complete configuration of the workstation, you must run the dcadsetup command script on each of the participating workstations. Running this script starts a daemon process that is required for distributed processing. No other setup task is required.
